Privacy & Data

Plain-language guidance for using Momentum safely. This is operational guidance, not a legal privacy policy.

What Momentum is for

Momentum is intended for business operations, work scheduling, hourly activity categories, business-level patient counts and financial totals, routine tracking, and weekly business reflection and planning.

Do not enter identifying or clinical information

Do not enter patient-identifying or clinical information. This includes:

  • patient or client names, identifying initials, phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, or dates of birth;
  • health card or insurance numbers, diagnoses, identifiable symptoms, treatment notes, appointment-specific clinical details, or clinical records;
  • payment card or bank-account numbers, passwords, access credentials, or anything else that could directly or indirectly identify a patient.
Take special care with free text

The restriction applies especially to hourly activity descriptions, daily and monthly notes, task titles and descriptions, schedule exception notes, weekly reflections, and next-week priorities.

Use general descriptions such as Client treatments, Documentation, Business administration, or Follow-up calls. Do not add appointment-specific or patient-specific details.

Consultant visibility

An assigned consultant can view the workspace with read-only access. Only specifically assigned workspaces are available to a consultant. Enter only information you are comfortable sharing with your assigned consultant.

Product boundary

Momentum is not an electronic medical record, a clinical documentation system, a patient chart, or a billing processor. It is not a replacement for an appropriate clinical record, billing, or practice management system.
